Who we are
Founded in 2015 by Chris Sachs, Gaïarta was born out of a vision inspired by a course on sustainable leadership. In 2017, Chris took a bold step and purchased our boat that has since undergone extensive restoration, bringing the dream to life. Along the way, the Gaiarta team has adapted and evolved, much like the shifting tides.
Since its inception, we've had the privilege of collaborating with many incredible people who have contributed their talents, insights, and passion to our mission. Through challenges like the pandemic and the ongoing transformation of the boat, our team remains united by a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community. Together, we continue to grow, learning from each experience and working towards creating something truly impactful.
